JIDLE COMMUNITY SOMALIA!!!

JIDLE is a community that lives in several places inside Somalia. We, the Jidles live closer to our kindred of the larger Gugundhabe clans like Baadicade and Jejele in Hiiraan State of Somalia as well as other states in Somalia. Jidle is composed of 2 major entities...Weeytaan and Muduraacde. Muduraacde, as a clan are very few in numbers and live in around Lower Shabelle as well as others live among other Jidles in Hiiraan region of Somalia. The other, Weeytan consist of 2 major clans...notable Murule, who are well known in Somalia, Kenya as well as Ethiopia .  The Weytaan clan live side by side in Hiiraan as well as Shabelle (Specifically in Qansax Dheere, Wajid, Xudur, Bardaale, BuulaMareer, Qoryooley, Saakoow, Jilib, Bardheere, Afmadoow, Beledweeyne iyo Xamar (Muqdisho)  and so many other areas in Somalia and Ethiopia. 

Somalia is going for elections 2021 and the community is under cameras once again...this time for the wrong reasons...Jidle ultimate areas for claiming legitimacy was probably in Hiiraan state, specifically in Beletweeyne but the Parliament of Somalia is changing it to Central Shabelle, a different area altogether. This we feel will make the community lose it's legitimacy in the federal government of Hirshabelle as well as Nationally. 

The issue at hand is about the Jidle community in Somalia and how they are being short-changed in the upcoming electoral process coming up in Somalia. Since Somalia is proceeding to elections in 2021 and every community has to list it's proper areas where it can get votes so that ballot boxes are placed for elections, the community needs to plan ahead. 

Jidle community has a seat in the Somalia National Assembly. It was created during the Mbagathi Somalia Conference in Nairobi, Kenya.

This seat was set to be occupied by Murule and Other Jidles in turns. Murule occupied the seat and  others some other times. We were doing this interchangeably well until few years ago,  A section of the Jidle made it like theirs....albeit without questions and even directions from the Jidle Ugas. The  Ugas makes decisions and Murules have lots of respect for him.

In 2016...Murules wanted to occupy the seat but were told, since the incumbent, Hon. Nuux, being one of us, was serving as a Minister in the Somalia Government, it was paramount we back him to make him stronger than his opponents and we obliged. We were looking for 2021 elections and things have changed again...We don't know what is happening

This time, Murules are looking for Jidle Ugaas to come up with a solution or else things will not be the same again in the Jidle Community. We want the Ugaas to make everything clear and we have our space.
